A good tip for horse shows and for life in general: Remember to learn something from every effort and interaction, whether it be, what to do or what not to do. A dear sports psychologist taught me years ago, to always ask myself, what did I learn? That way if things work out it is easy to see progress, but if they don't work out how you wanted, that you don't feel at fault or you failed. It is place where you can learn more about yourself and human nature.
